While we are cusp of another great FANTASY FOOTBALL season and just getting around to diggin in the mags, rollin over stats and getting our draftee cheat sheets compiled I'd like to take a minute rite quick to recao another great weekend in UFC fighting....& I figured I might as well since I went ahead and forked up the 55 bucks to watch that shit in HD, which by the way If they intend to keep having one every freakin 2 months they should probably consider dropping the price down to 35bux and they just might get a lil more business.But thats besides the point because the two main fight cards of the night should be a prime example of why the biz is booming.
BTW i wouldn't consider myself an expert on MMA or a fighter per se, but definitely always a fan of a good fight.
These are obviously two great champions fighting at the hieght prime, and not to take anything away from the challengers but BJ & the SPIDER both made statements saturday night that spoke for themselves. While I might be biased towards BJ because of my ties to the islands its great to see the FIRE in his eyes once again, and after a devastating loss to GSP and allegations of MANLUBE and now ROIDS theres no question that he took that loss extremely hard and defending his lightwieght title against BEN STILLER LOOK ALIKE K-FLO was a perfect way for BJ to bounce back and regain some of that SWAG he seemed to be lacking after one too many bong rips & zippy's combo plate lunches.He was definitely ZEN'd out, in the zone, and while JOE ROGAN kept saying BJ might be wearing down with KFLOs stratedgy of pressing him against the cage BJ remained calm and looked fresh going well into the 4th round and a good sign that his new conditioning program has been effective.

With all the h8rade thats been going around after the GSP accusations its good to see him do some talking in the ring and remain UFC royalty. Thus the stage is FINALLY SET for PENN vs DIEGO and all hell is about to break loose..
And well the highlight of the night of course was not a lightweight title defense but the GHOSTPUNCH of a BAD BAD MAN. If u didn't see this fight, you should, shouldnt take but like 4 minutes of your times....insert link here..... AND while some have been saying that this fight may have been fixed and that FORREST took a fall, to me FORREST has always been about the fight and nothing else. I was really rooting for the guy, how could u not love the dude. What better storyline would it be to HUMBLE the most BAD ASS on top of his game dude by the most HUMBLEST dude in the game!? BUT reality struck him cold with the first click of his jaw. He didn't take a fall, that man was hurt.
